From Brianna: My exchange sister Nicole and I were going out for the night in Laramie. The first two bars we stopped at were completely full, and the third had only one open seat. We decided we could make that work, and before long we were chatting with the guy next to our shared barstool. We spent the night talking and then the time came to head home. I thought Nick had left while Nicole and I were waiting for our ride, so when I saw his wallet still sitting on the bar I thought he had forgotten it! I grabbed it and headed outside to try to find him. I couldn’t, and then our ride arrived and I decided to try and get it back to him in the morning. He had just gone to the bathroom. And I had stolen his wallet. But it gave me the perfect excuse to track him down the next day - who would have known I would be marrying him five years later!
From Nick: We had a very exciting week scheduled - our favorite singer, Corb Lund, was finally back on tour and we were going to three shows in a row before following him to Nashville for his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. The timing was perfect. We have a tradition of Friday night date nights with prime rib and wine. Although we were out of town and could not go to our regular spot, I found a great restaurant near the concert venue so we could still have our steak. After the wine was poured, I pulled the ring from my pocket and asked if our Friday night dates could continue forever. She said yes.
