08/2015 Boys Bid Night I had been going to Lambda Chi for all of their events for about a year and a half because my older brother, Allen (nub), was a member. During all this time I had never met Mitch. On this night, I specifically remember dancing like a lunatic with my friends when I looked up and saw the MOST handsome boy (man) looking at me from the balcony! (I never believed in love at first sight, but that night I saw her changed my mind) Every time I looked up, I saw him looking at me (every time I looked down, she was staring at me!). At one point he ended up walking down from the balcony and sitting right next to me on the tree stone (wtf is a tree stone? I think she means planter) but did not ever say a word! Ever since then I asked all of my guy friends what his name was and I wanted to know everything they knew about him. I did my fair share of stalking on social media (same) and I just remember thinking I HAD to meet Mitch Lang (and I had to meet Brianna Dyess) (Around this time, I was listening to 5 Years Time by Noah and the Whale on repeat, picturing Bri & I even though we had never met) 10/9/2015 Hurricane Chris @ Lambda Chi #AyBayBay I came here with a goal to find Mitch Lang. At the end of the night I had finally found him but he was telling our friend, Joe Spindler, that he was leaving. I ran up to Joe and asked "where is Mitch Lang going!?" Joe called Mitch to come back to the party because a girl wanted to meet him. Mitch had already started to walk back home, but he came back to Lambda Chi (I had a hunch that girl was Bri). 11/19/2015 Mitch bought me a white chocolate macadamia cookie from Insomnia and wrote "GF?" on it with red icing, officially asking me to be his girlfriend (she immediately made fun of my bad handwriting) 8/15/2020 HE PROPOSED!! --- Here we are, over 5 years later, getting ready to spend the rest of our lives together. We thank God every day for our beautiful, ever-growing, relationship. We love y’all! Mitch & Bri
