How did you meet the Bride or Groom? Bri and I meet in 11th Grade through a leadership program and we’ve been friends ever since! We went to college together and our friendship grew even more - she’s a life time friend. What are 2 things we must know about you? I write poetry and am fluent in Spanish. What is one thing that excites you about this union? I went to high school with Maurte' and he’s always been a gentleman, I know he will be the right life partner for Bri. Obviously, Bri is a close friend and she’s a vibrant, loving and sweet spirit. I am excited about their union because I know they are a true match!

How did you meet the Bride or Groom? Well when Mama came home with her I wasn’t too excited, but she been alright ever since. Tae and I met on Christmas and to know him is to love him! What are 2 things we must know about you? Two interesting facts is that Im a granny in a 33 years old body but I don’t look a day over 21 lol! I have 3 beautiful babies that I definitely want to include because they are the most interesting part of me! What is one thing that excites you about this union? I’m so excited about Bri and Tae’s union. I think they are beautifully paired and I see how much Tar has made Bri better and where Bri has made Tae better! It’s so beautiful seeing the growth between these two.

How did you meet the Bride or Groom? Bri and I met in high school. She's a big part of how I came out of my shell when I was a teenager. She's always funny and encouraging. A real light in my life. What are 2 things we must know about you? 1) I got headbutted by a dog once. 2) When I play Dungeons and Dragons, I go by "Mike the Wizard" What is one thing that excites you about this union? I love Bri. She's family. And Bri loves Maurt'e, so he's family too.

How did you met the Bride or Groom? I met Tae Tae back in the day. When I learned that he was big Cuz, we were close ever since. I met Bri through Tae Tae. She is the only person he has dated that I liked from the jump. And I don’t open up to people that easily. What is your favorite memory with Maurt'e? My favorite memory with Tae Tae is when we lived on The Bluff. I was a little lazy dude then and I didn't like helping with laundry. My aunt had four kids. I would only help by bringing in one bag of clothes, and finally Tae Tae said, "D, take two bags instead of one!" Those bags were so heavy. Now that I think about it, where was Yogi? From that day on I knew what type of determination he had when it came to accomplishing his tasks. I knew from that interaction that my cousin was going to be a huge influence for me. What are 2 things we must know about you? I love Ed Shereen I’m me. There’s something about me you have to love. Maybe because I'm a Virgo. What is one thing that excites you about this union? The most exciting thing about them getting married is me being in the wedding. Seriously, though, Tae Tae and Bri compliment each other. They live together and they have careers. All we're waiting on now is a son.

How did you meet the Bride or Groom? I met Brianna during our Sophomore year at Paseo Academy in Mrs. Carver's Geometry class. Funny story, upon first meeting we didn't care too much for each other. I thought she was a loud, know-it-all. But life, being the mysterious entity it can be, changed that very quickly. See, both Bri (our good friend Carl) and I struggled with grasping the concept of putting shapes and numbers together, and this mere aspect of confusion is what brought us together. From that point forward, we were connected at the hip. We would exchange our homecooked lunches and even defend one another in cafeteria debates. Thank goodness for the letters and numbers still not making sense to us because it created a bond that will never be broken.... that is unless one of us becomes a loud, know-it-all in the future. :) What are 2 things we must know about you? I almost grew an extra finger as a baby (yes, you can see it) I'm the most Sagittarius Sagittarius you'll ever meet What is one thing that excites you about this union? One thing that excites me about this union is the amount of growth that is about to take place. I’ve never seen two people with very opposing ideas about EVERYTHING, but the same values in love. They somehow manage to be on the same page. Always remember, differences do not mean disrespect. They allow for us to grow closer together!

How did you meet the Bride or Groom? I met Bri during gym class, sophomore year at Paseo high school. We were running laps around the track and she was the fastest girl, I was the second. We were actually the only two girls running, while everyone else sat on the bench. Either way, I wanted to be her friend because she dominated every sport in class. I later found out she was funny and had a great personality too, so we obviously became friends. We bonded through many after school activities such as the debate, swim, dance, and Young Life. We continued growing together after high school, but we became sisters throughout our time at Mizzou. What are 2 things we must know about you? I love myths and folk legends. I played the piano throughout my childhood. What is one thing that excites you about this union? I am excited Bri found her partner and love. I know that Maurte will protect her and love her. I also know she will love and protect him. They’re two amazing beautiful people and they deserve the world.

How did you meet the Bride or Groom? I met Tae Tae coming out of diapers. He's my big brother and that'll never change. I met Bri during their second date out bowling. What is your favorite memory with Maurte'? My favorite memory is when he took me to my first Royal's game. It was my first time at the stadium, but it was also our first time getting to hang out as brothers. It was a lot of fun. What are 2 things we must know about you? I am professionally hood. Seriously though, I am all about my family. I am the most exciting person in this family and don't let Tez tell you different. What is one thing that excites you about this union? They are the same person. It is fun seeing their compatibility.

How did you meet the Bride or Groom? I met them as a couple during what I thought was their first date. The family all met up at Ward Parkway to see Queen and Slim and Bri was there all dressed up from an event. (She's always involved in something.) What is your favorite memory with Maurt'e? I loved when we got to play basketball against each other in high school. I played for University Academy and he played for Lincoln College Prep. They beat us, but it was so fun getting to play against one of my favorite basketball players. Good times. What are 2 things we must know about you? I have an infectious laugh. I'm sure you'll hear it at the wedding. I was an All-American basketball player. What is one thing that excites you about this union? Seeing them come together as one. With him and my big brother getting married, it excites me to look forward to this one day. Tae Tae used to be super shy, and to see him stand out and with a nice woman at that it warms my heart.

How did you meet the bride or groom? Me and Tae Tae go way back ever Since I was born. He is my big cousin. I First met Bri at a family function at Auntie Shonda house. What are two things that we must know about? I am a division one basketball player at Abilene Christian Univeristy. I am a person who likes to go out and kick it with family memebers and be stress free. Plus I am the life of the party! (No matter what Yogi and Tez says lol) What is one thing that excites you about this union? I am excited to a see a role mode of mine, that I have great love and respect for, to find the woman of his dreams and also seeing them grow with each other.
