How long will the Gondola ride take?

Answer

About 15 minutes up the mountain. With roughly a 10-minute walk to the ceremony site. This is why arriving on time is crucial to ensure your attendance to the ceremony.

What should I bring on the Gondola?

Answer

The resort recommends all guests bring a jacket, an umbrella, and sunscreen due to the constantly changing weather. Even though the path is paved, they do not recommend any kind of stiletto shoe, as the deck is located up a hill. Flats or wedges are recommended.

Where should I park if I am not staying in Vail?

Answer

Parking is available in the Lionshead Parking Garage (395 S Frontage Rd W, Vail, CO 81657). Please allow ample time to find parking. During busy summer days, parking can fill up. If the Lionshead Structure is full, parking is available at the Vail Village Parking Structure (241 E Meadow Dr, Vail, CO 81657). If both parking structures are full, street parking is available on S. Frontage Road.

What is the address to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no physical address for the Event Deck; instead, list Vail Mountain Event Deck, located in Lionshead Village. Guests will load the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead Village for access to the wedding deck.
