I met my Matron of Honor in college through a bible study. We ended up sharing a room together my final year which solidified out lifelong friendship. Even though there are miles between us now our bond has stayed strong and I am so grateful to have her by my side today.
Reed Podoll
Best Man
My oldest friend and younger brother. Reed has been an incredible support in my life, and I'm very grateful to have him as my Best Man. He's one of the funniest guys I know and I've enjoyed many years of stupid inside jokes and way-too-specific show and podcast references. Throughout the years, I've always been able to lean on Reed for advice, support, or a laugh when I need it most. Also, expect to see some killer moves on the dance floor!
Marissa Philips
Maid of Honor
I met my Maid of Honor in college as well. We were strangers who ended up living together thanks to mutual friends. It turned out to be one of the best recommendations ever as the three of us (Marissa, Angela, and I) became the closest of friends. From sleepovers in the living room to craft nights their was never a dull moment in the apartment. Despite living in different states now, she has remained one of my closet friends and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her.
Jacob Conner

Bri's brother and soon to be my future brother-in-law. Jake had immediately welcomed me into the family, and through countless hours hanging out at the 40 we've fostered a great friendship. Whether it's discussing our many shared passions like coffee, games, guns, or the outdoors, I always seem to learn something new talking to this guy. He's been a great support in my life and I'm excited to celebrate the joining of our families with him.
Mylin Conner
Bridesmaid
This bridesmaid is officially my sister-in-law. It had been a long time coming but Mylin and my brother finally tied the knot just over a year ago and we couldn't be more grateful. Her bubbly personality and constant encouragement light up every room, and I am thrilled to celebrate this day with her.
Nate Wilde
Groomsman
Nate and I met years back at Optum where we'd waste many many hours talking on whatever random topic we'd been overly focused on that week. Our friendship has grown though our many shared hobbies that we're always getting too far into. Nate has an insane wealth of knowledge on pretty much any topic you can think of, and a great sense of humor. I'm pumped to have this guy in my party.
Katie Kent
Bridesmaid
I met Katie in PA school, where we survived the highs and many more lows of school together. She was a constant source of encouragement and strength which helped me get through the day to day struggles and finish PA school strong. I am happy to say that we now are both certified Physician Assistants and I am so glad to be able to celebrate another milestone with her.
Brooks Flyberg
Groomsman
Another one of the old Optum crew. Brooks is a Minnesotan dad through-and-through, with killer skills on the grill and a great taste in beer. He's always ready with a joke, a reference to one of our many shared favorite shows, or a good-ol-fashioned "WHAT ARE WE DOING" rant at work. A sage old guy, I'm grateful for his constant challenging of me to be a better Christian, actuary, and man.
