They say soul mates cross paths twice and the first time Justin & Brie met they were both invited to a mutual friends party. Brie vaguely remembers the "tallest guy" in the room and Justin tells Brie that he remembers "the pretty girl in the black dress." That was in 2018 & they didn't see each other again until May of 2020. Brie and a friend were at Firehouse Grille & Pub in Willoughby Hills and they were about to order an uber to take them back home. Brie's friend decided last minute to ask her friend "Nobbe" to pick them up and when Brie stepped up into Justin's truck he reached for her hand and the type of "fireworks" you see in movies, well it was proven to be true that night. Justin & Brie were inseparable from that moment on. They made each other laugh more than anyone ever has before & swear it felt like they knew each other for years. They bonded over their mutual love for a band called FUN. so much so that their "first dance" song will be "the gambler" by FUN. They drove around everywhere and anywhere together. They didn't care what they were doing as long as they were by each others side. They moved into their first apartment together in 2021 and in 2022 they found a cozy colonial house in Parma to call home. Brie and Justin adopted a blind mastiff mix named Benson (named after another song by the band FUN.) shortly after moving in & he is their most loved and spoiled fur-baby in the entire world. Fast forward a few home renovations & life adventures later & Justin got down on one knee. He proposed to Brie in their living room with their dog Benson right by his side. It was the day before Halloween & they were getting ready to leave for a costume party. They were dressed up as Jack & Wendy Torrance from The Shining & if you know the couple well enough then you will not be surprised in the slightest! Justin was smiling from ear to ear once Brie said "yes" and in that moment they felt like the only two people in the world. (aside from Benson of course!) We are so happy to share this exciting time in our lives with all of you. Thank you for your love and support as it truly means the world to us.
