Welcome!

We’d known each other back in high school—just acquaintances connected by a mutual friend. Years passed without much thought of each other, until 2022, when we reconnected out of the blue on social media. We planned to hang out, and when he came over, everything felt surprisingly easy. We watched TV, and at some point, I even fell asleep. After that night, hanging out became our thing—whether it was watching crime documentaries, grabbing food, or going bowling. For months, we were simply friends, enjoying the time together without rushing a thing. Eventually, our hangouts turned into real dates: game nights, ice cream stops, and taco runs. When it came time for me to move, he was there, helping every step of the way, and before we knew it, we were moving into a new place together. Our place was cozy—700 square feet—and home to our three pets, who somehow made it feel even smaller. But we loved it. Our first Valentine’s Day in our apartment was simple but memorable, with a dinner out and a small surprise at home. Not long after, we found out we were expecting our beautiful baby boy. With this new chapter, we decided it was time to find a house to grow into—and along the way, we realized we wanted to make this life together permanent. In our new home, we decided it was time to get married.
