We're getting married!

Johnny and I met on Instagram, yes, online! I never imagined that I would meet the love of my life in that way, but God clearly had a greater plan. Before we reach the romantic part of our story, it’s only right to share how it all began. One evening, while scrolling through my follow requests, I came across a private account belonging to a guy named Johnny. With little to go on and a touch of curiosity, I followed him. Once I saw his photos, I could confirm he was undeniably handsome. Still, I thought nothing more of it… until the next day, when he sent me a message. What began as a simple conversation quickly turned into nonstop texting! Yet surprisingly, no flirting at all. At the time, I genuinely believed he was only looking to make a new friend. In fact, one night we were talking on the phone, and I tried to set him up with one of my friends. That was when he stopped me and said, “Brianna, I like you. I would really love to get to know you.” From that moment on, we spent the next two months intentionally building a foundation through long conversations about the Bible, our personalities, and interests, as well as countless FaceTime calls, all before ever meeting in person. Finally, Johnny suggested we meet. In November, he traveled to Denver, and everything changed. On our first date, we shared beignets surrounded by the mountains, and at that moment, I knew I had fallen in love. It was clear that God had been working behind the scenes all along. He brought us together in His perfect timing, blessing me with the very best. Our story is a beautiful reminder that His plans are always greater than our own.
