When should I RSVP by?

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if your invitation says you have a plus one. The venue will be at capacity with our guest list!

Are there places to eat nearby?

Answer

Yes! If you’re staying in Miranda then there is a coffee shop, two restaurants, and a grocery store right across from the venue. If you’re staying in Myers Flat then you’ll need to drive 10 minutes into Miranda, or 15 minutes to Garberville. If you’re staying in Garberville then there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store. If you’re staying at Benbow Inn, they have a restaurant on site and a grocery store nearby. Keep in mind most things close around 8pm so we recommend grabbing some snacks from the store to have on hand!

Should we rent a car?

Answer

Yes! If you’re flying up we recommend renting a car as the drive from the airport to the venue is about 1.5 hours, and it’s fairly rural. You’ll likely want to be able to explore and get food! There is a car rental booth attached to the airport right when you de board, and there’s other options (Hertz and Enterprise) in Eureka. You'll want to reserve a rental car in advance.

What should I pack?

Answer

It’s going to be hot, but it can cool off at night! We recommend bringing your summer clothes as well as layers, a swimsuit, sunscreen, sandals, and some sneakers if you’d like to go hiking!

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We're hiring someone with a large 15-person van who will be picking folks up and dropping them off. They'll be providing transportation for the day before event at the Brass Rail as well as the wedding.
