Question

Why are you having a reception if you’re eloping?

Answer

We chose to elope for a more intimate and personal ceremony, but we still want to celebrate this special moment with the people we love! Our reception is our way of sharing the joy of our marriage with family and friends.

Question

Will you be doing traditional wedding moments at the reception?

Answer

Yes! While there won’t be a ceremony, we’ll still have some traditional wedding moments—like a first dance, toasts, and cake cutting—so it’ll feel like a true wedding celebration.

Question

Is the wedding reception 21+?

Answer

Yes, our wedding reception is for guests 21 and older, except for immediate family members (such as siblings, nieces, and nephews).

Question

Why is the reception 21+?

Answer

We want to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where our guests can fully enjoy the celebration. Since alcohol will be served, we decided to keep it an adults-only event, with the exception of immediate family.

Question

Can I bring my child if they stay with me the whole time?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to keep things simple, we are only making exceptions for immediate family members.

Question

Will IDs be checked at the reception?

Answer

Yes, the bar may check IDs as they have their liability insurance to uphold, so please bring a valid form of identification.

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure to RSVP by the date listed on your invitation so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What if I already RSVP’d for someone under 21?

Answer

If there’s a conflict with the age restriction, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can adjust accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only those who received a direct invitation are included on the guest list. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be specified.

Question

Can I give my invitation to someone else if I can’t attend?

Answer

No, invitations are non-transferable. Our guest list is limited, so only those who were personally invited may attend.

Question

What if I already RSVP’d but can no longer attend?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our plans. We’ll miss you but appreciate the heads-up!

Question

What if I forgot to RSVP but still want to come?

Answer

Unfortunately, we need a finalized guest count, so if you didn’t RSVP by the deadline, we won’t be able to accommodate additional guests.
