When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVPs for the wedding are asked to be submitted by June 30, 2025.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

At this time, we are not allowing plus ones due to venue capacities. If you would like to bring a special guest, please contact the wedding couple before RSVPing.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! The resort is family friendly. We kindly ask that if your children are attending, they sit respectfully during the ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are booking through Sunwing Vacations, airport transfers are included in your fare. If you are booking with other airlines, please ask your provider about airport transfers. If you are staying at a different hotel, resort or Airbnb, transportation is not provided to the ceremony.

Can I stay at a different hotel?

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to stay at any accommodation they prefer. They must purchase a day pass to attend the wedding at the RIU. Day passes are estimated to be 100USD. Please inform the wedding couple if this is the case.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00pm. We recommend guests arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Please do not be late as you will not be permitted to enter.

How can I pay for my trip? (Canadians booking through Sunwing)

Answer

Head to sunwing.ca If you have an account already, click “Sign in”. If you haven’t registered before, click on “Create Account”. How To Create An Account: To Create an Account, enter in the email address being used for this account, enter a password, and confirm the password. When creating a password, ensure all criteria is met. Once filled in select “Create Account”. The screen will advise that a verification email has been sent to confirm the email address. The email address will need to be confirmed prior to logging into the account. Once Activate my account has been selected, you will receive confirmation that your account has been created. You can click Next, and it will prompt you to enter your password to login to your account. On the “Home Page” of your profile: Once signed in, you can add your booking under “My Trips”. The name on the account must match one of the passengers’ names on the booking (trip). If the name does not match the booking will not be added under “My Trips”. Your booking number is 137117225. Enter your booking number and select “Add Trip”. Once you have added your trip, you will receive a pop-up message confirming your trip has been added. You can then navigate directly to My Booking Portal by selecting “Manage my Trip”. Please only enter your first and last name, as the middle name box will provide an error. Click the “Make a Payment” button under your hotel info. Please do not be alarmed at the large outstanding amount. This is not your personal outstanding balance. It is a total for the guests from this group, who are travelling from the same airport as you. IMPORTANT: You will see a total amount for the entire group, not only your individual booking information. Click “Add payment” Add your credit card info and click “Continue” You will be asked to confirm the payment twice. Once processed, you will instantly receive a confirmation of your payment. Another confirmation will follow shortly with your updated booking information.
