Our main goal for November 28th is to get married. With covid being around for much longer than anyone could foresee, we decided that life is too short to wait any longer or postpone. We will go forth with our wedding; however we are concerned about the health and safety of our friends and family. In order to comply with social distancing we had to make the heart breaking decision to cut our guest list by over half. We are very sad not to have all of our friends and family be with us physically; but, we are fortunate enough to live in a modern age with zoom. We will be having the ceremony videotaped and broadcasted over zoom for our guests who will be attending virtually.
Yes, we ask that all our guests wear a mask to protect our loved ones.
Yes, the venue staff will be checking every guests temperature as they arrive to the wedding.
Yes, we will be limiting the number of people at each table and encouraging families to set together at the ceremony with two chairs separating other parties.
Yes! We will still have dancing and traditional wedding fun! However, we will have “socially distanced” games for our guests who don’t feel comfortable hitting the dance floor.
Yes, please select that option on your rsvp card. With all happening in the world we had to make significant changes to our guest list and reduce the people we wanted to attend by over half! It makes us extremely sad to not have all of our family and friends be invited physically to the wedding but we are grateful to have the technology we have today and will hope to see you over zoom.
We plan on having quarantine tables set up for our guests who are concerned about covid spreading at our wedding. These tables will have even more limited people and be set up further away from the dance floor.
We will be splitting our ceremony in half (right down the aisle) and having a more socially distant side that will require guests to wear a mask for the duration of the ceremony.
The venue will be taking the precautions for restaurants provided by the government. Jake and I as a couple will be setting up air purifiers that kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in the main ballroom. We will also be providing ample amounts of hand sanitizer.
The date on the RSVP might have already passed by the time you have received the invite due to planning around COVID. Please send back the RSVP as soon as you can or contact the bride and groom, so we have the time to make all the adjustments regarding covid.
