The North Sound is a protected harbor on the northeastern tip of Virgin Gorda surrounded by several smaller islands. Our wedding ceremony will be held on Saba Rock, which is a small island tucked away in the heart of the North Sound off of Virgin Gorda between Prickly Pear Island and The Bitter End. We’re excited to have you join us in a place special to both Bri and Henry! We realize that there are some logistics involved, so we did our best to outline them below. As the name suggests, there are many islands in the BVI’s, but all of our events will take place on VIRGIN GORDA. There are a few ways to get to Virgin Gorda and the BVI’s, all which vary by convenience and price point. The most direct route is to fly into either Tortola (EIS), or direct to Virgin Gorda (VIJ). American Airlines flies to Tortola direct from Miami, and other carriers offer a connection in Puerto Rico. We recommend the Miami route if possible. Once on Tortola, there are ample ferries that run between Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Virgin Gorda is a very small Airport, with connections mainly from San Juan (SJU). Typically we see flights to San Juan on American carriers, with connections by smaller ones (Cape Air, Tradewind Aviation). The advantage with this route being there is no need to travel between islands. Please click the link below for details on the most common travel routes, ferry schedules, and additional transportation services.
