Our journey started in the most unexpected way — at work! We met while working at BMW: Manny was a technician, and Bri was a valet. One day, Bri was walking around the shop asking if anyone needed a roommate (as one does). Someone mentioned that Manny might be looking, so she walked right up to his toolbox and asked. His exact words? "Eh… I guess that'll work." (A love story for the ages.) A few months after moving in together as strictly roommates, Manny went on a trip to New Jersey for the holidays and came back with an unforgettable gift: COVID. We ended up quarantined together for 14 long days in our tiny apartment… and by the end of it, we realized there was something more than just shared rent and WiFi passwords. After that, we were pretty much inseparable. Our very first date was at Dave & Buster’s, and every year since, we’ve gone back to relive the fun, play some games, and celebrate us. Fast forward to this year — back at D&B, we stepped into the photo booth for our usual cute photo strip… and when the flash went off, Manny dropped to one knee and proposed. We’re still in shock — and couldn’t be happier. From roommates to soulmates… we really are roommates forever.
