Maid of Honor
Jonica and Bri have been best friends since the wild, old days. Their friendship started when they became roommates in 2012 and has continued on through many hilarious, powerful, eye-opening, and scandalous years of their lives. They even gave birth to their firstborn sons within 4 months of each other! Bri has asked Jonica to be her Maid of Honor because she knows Jonica is the most loyal, fun, and vibrant souls she has had the pleasure of meeting.
Maid of Honor
It's like black bows and pink bows. Hues of muted florals and dark red lips. Its teal hair and garnet. It's Lilly and Bri, who were lucky enouth that life gently nudged them towards a friendship. Bri thanks Lilly for sparking her imagination as a girl, being always so brave, and for being the fashion inspiration we all needed. Bri has asked Lilly to be her Maid of Honor because with them it may be black and roses, buts its also feeling so very kindred.
Best Man
The eldest son of the (soon-to-be) Caruthers Somers clan, Titus has the brains of his mom, the stature of his dad, and the sense of humor of both. A sweet, caring child, he simultaneously has no compunctions about punching his dad at the drop of a hat. One thing can always be said for Ti: he has never let anything stop him from being who he is, and his family wouldn’t have it any other way. As the catalyst for all of this, who could ask for a better Best Man?
Best Man
Edmond and Jason bonded over their terrible (truly awful) jobs at a certain company that shall remain unnamed. After that, a love of video games, coarse humor, and poor decisions reinforced the idea that they should probably watch each other’s backs if they wanted to make it to old age. Even after a move that took Jason across the country, they continue to be there for each other, to deal out advice and insults as called for. Edmond can’t think of anyone he’d rather have next to him as his Best Man.
Bridesman
Jonathan is Bri's second brother. Bri remembers, vividly, little baby Jonathan, who stole her heart with his giggles and wide eyes grins. Jonathan is determined, exceptionally smart, with a near constant crooked smile and a sense of humor that can almost entirely be conveyed with looks. Jonathan is Bri's bridesman because she loved him from the beginning and can't imagine a life without her brother.
Bridesman
Noah is Bri's littlest (but very much not the shortest) brother. Noah is loved by Bri for his charisma, his blunt and hopeful perspectives, and the way he can't walk past a mirror without checking himself out. If Bri ever needs a clever storytelling idea, a laugh, or some surprising ancient sage wisdom, she turns to her youngest brother. That is why he is her bridesman.
Groomswoman
Edmond’s oldest (but not older) sister, Hannah has always been driven, smart as a whip, and ready to go toe-to-toe with people twice her size. Always determined to forge her own path, for better or worse, Hannah has inspired Edmond with her resourcefulness and tenacity. They have both spent hours playing Elder Scrolls games, and an excellent example of Hannah’s attitude lays there – after all, how many people have a character that can jump out of the loading screen?
Groomswoman
The youngest Somers child, Maggie has always had a warm heart. Wanting to get involved in video games like her older siblings, she convinced Edmond to let her play a game called Mercenaries. I’ll leave it to your imagination what the intended way to play is, but Maggie insisted on driving carefully, stopping at red lights, braking for pedestrians, and all around “being a good citizen”. It’s that love and care of community that have driven her to her current career, and what make Edmond proud to call her his sister.
Ring Bearer
Asa is Bri and Edmond's youngest. He may look serious, but there's a whole lot of charm hiding behind that furrowed brow. The bride and groom know that their energetic and persistent second born will get that ring down the aisle with a flare only Asa Knight can have.
Flower Girl
Rachel is Bri's niece and we may be biased, but she is going to be the sweetest, most beautiful flower girl. Rachel has the world wrapped around her little finger. She even has her own theme song! (Go Rachel, Go Rachel!) Watch for her on the dance floor.
Officiant
Justin is Bri's oldest, best friend. Nearly every fond memory of childhood features Justin. Bri remembers playing Uno in the hallway, way past bedtime. Bri recalls Christmases where the ornaments came to life, countless hours of Ocarina of Time, and totally ACCIDENTALLY flushing the Bionicle and laughing about it now. Bri admires Justin's daringness, his perfectly clever humor, and his character development. Bri has always had Justin's back, taking the protective older sister role very seriously, but Justin never really needs it. Justin is a quick study. He figures it out, he adjusts, and he seeks his future'. Bri has asked Justin to officiate because the adventure cannot take place without him. Afterall, it isn't safe to go alone.
