What is the address for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is taking place at Union Hill Grange in Sublimity Oregon. The address is 15775 Grange Rd SE, Sublimity, OR 97385. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at this location.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We we would appreciate a dressy casual atmosphere for both the ceremony and reception. We do request that guests refrain from wearing white, or variations thereof. Ladies, please also keep in mind that events will be taking place in the grass and heels are not recommended.

What is the start time and when should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please arrive beginning at 4:00 and plan to be seated by 4:25.

Will there be a shuttle from Salem to the grange?

Answer

We will not be providing a shuttle or transportation to and from the wedding. If you would like recommendations for a taxi or other services, please let us know.

Where should I park at the grange?

Answer

There is a marked area in the field across the road from the grange. There is plenty of space for all guests to park. For guests who need closer parking, there are handicap spots available.

What happens if it is raining?

Answer

Don't fret! While we hope that the weather cooperates and gives us a beautiful fall day, events can be moved inside the grange or inside the tent.

Will I be served food?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing some appetizers such as charcuterie and chips and dip. Dinner is being catered by Adam's Ribs BBQ. If you have any dietary constraints, please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

There is a hotel block set up with the Grand Hotel in Salem, OR. To receive the discounted rate, please book your hotel by calling the Grand and referencing Ellis/Pendrak wedding. Reservations must be made by 8/2/2022 to receive the discounted rate.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on save the dates and invitations be in attendance. We are planning a small, intimate wedding and only have space and food available to those on our guest list. Please feel free to address us with any concerns that you might have.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Since we are not drinkers, we will not be serving any hard alcohol. However, we will be providing guests with assorted beers and wine. Non alcoholic drinks will also be available for fellow non drinkers - fizzy water anyone?

Can I take photos?

Answer

We do ask that our guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony portion of the wedding. We have professional photographers who will be taking photos through the ceremony, and our wish is to not have any phones or electronics in those photos. We are more than happy to share our photographs with anyone who wants them once they are available. We have chosen to have an intimate and private ceremony, and hope that our guests can respect those wishes. At other times during our event, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!
