Our Story

Fairy tales tell, as their labels imply, stories of magic, of creatures that fly. With giants and dragons and ogres and elves, and inanimate objects that speak for themselves. There's romance and danger and plotting of schemes. There's good guys and bad guys and some guys in between. In the county of Prince George, on an October night 2013, there was once a boy and a girl. Over the glow of a bonfire (and birthday candles), the boy, his name was Corey, caught a glimpse of the fairest maiden in all of high school (she happens to be Brianna). She did not realize it yet but he knew that she must be his! He built her a fire, and stepped on her foot, they played games (while covered in bonfire soot). By the end of the night, they were sure, neither had met someone like the other before. As many modern romances begin, Corey reconnected with Brianna over Facebook. Their relationship begins when his first message was sent; Corey asked to borrow Brianna's number (and after some mocking, she gladly replied). Corey and Brianna shared I love you's and dances and graduated together. As they grew up, the two remained linked. Brianna and Corey wrote to each other fairly frequently while he was gone for his military training. Corey saw Brianna often between her studies (first-year grades may reflect this, don't tell her mother). In 2017 they took the next step and moved to Chester (and adopted a cat they adore); then to Richmond (where the couch did not fit through the door). They loved through good times and hard times and times of joy. And then one day, Corey had a secret ploy! He had a ring and knelt on one knee, there she became his wife to be. If there's one thing to learn, it's you just can't go wrong if you follow your heart and end with a song. Now it's back to the real world, all of you I must send, for I've only two words left, and they are: the end. (Ella Enchanted, 2004)
