On the fateful day of March 18th, 2016 we met at work at the Pecan Shed in Henrietta. The very first conversation that we had was her asking me to make a burrito for her to eat on break. She told me that she only ate her eggs cooked very well and the bacon crisp, but not burnt. I replied with a look of frustration and she in return batted her big brown eyes flirtatiously and in that moment I was smitten. After fast forwarding a few weeks, the conversation at work turned to how Bri'Anna would never be able to find someone to marry her because she was too high class and boujee. As a joke, I said that I would. I did not know at the time that this had just lit the spark of the beginning of our relationship.

On October 8th, 2021, I had planned a fall photo shoot for Bri'Anna and I. Little did she know that it would not be a normal photo session. I couldn't tell anyone though. I actually waited until just a few days prior to ask our photographer to help me set that part of the pictures up. I knew that just having the information out in the universe that Bri'Anna would magically figure it out somehow. I wanted it to be a complete surprise to her. That afternoon we drove over to Lucy Park to meet with Caleb for our photos. We walked and took plenty of pictures along the trail. On the way back, Caleb had us stop and he set us up for the proposal picture. I did the traditional one knee proposal and asked her to marry me. She burst into tears, but instead of saying yes she asked me if this was even real?
