We met in the workplace - and it ended up working out! ;) Bri was already working as a nurse at her first job in the ICU and Cody later began working on the same unit as a nurse as well. As they became close work friends and began to spend time together outside of work, Cody confessed his long-lasting, ongoing 'crush' while Bri had remained oblivious (as usual). Though at first hesitant to jump into any kind of relationship (being co-workers), the two couldn't be separated - and "Just friends" grew into, "Can we be best friends forever?"

After officially becoming a couple in October of 2017, Bri and Cody took a leap and decided to do travel nursing together, beginning in August of 2018. This kicked off about a year's worth of endless adventures, road trips galore, and learning the nitty-gritty of life as travel nurses. Temporary home-bases included a couple of towns near Tacoma, Washington, and then Santa Fe, New Mexico. They were able to see breathtaking sights along the way, meet amazing people, and make beautiful memories that will be etched into their minds forever.

Keeping with the tradition of road trips and traveling together, Cody asked Bri to marry him while on a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee after taking in the awe-inspiring fall scenery in the Great Smoky Mountains.
