FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please leave your little ones, under the age of 16, at home!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

No and yes - we are emphasizing an "unplugged" ceremony. So, please refrain from snapping any pictures or videos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer that will capture all of the beautiful moments during our ceremony. Please just sit back and relax, the photographer has it under control! However, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like at the reception! Our only requirement is that you use our hashtag, #BriandDrewSayIDo, so we can see all of your pictures!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 4th.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and on our Zola website.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive before 6 pm. The bride & groom will say their "I Do's" with or without you, but we prefer it be with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

We all know the Midwest weather does whatever it feels like doing! Please keep up with the weather in the St. Louis area the week of the wedding!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at the Larimore House.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As of now, the ceremony will be taking place outdoors. However, we will move indoors if there is a chance of bad weather. The reception will be inside.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, you will have the chance to take a peak inside the historic Larimore House. We will then ask you to make your way to the reception area for light appetizers and drinks while the wedding party takes pictures.

Question

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please mail your RSVP.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is plenty of parking on the Larimore site and yes, it is free! However, please car pool if you are able to!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

They sure are!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Of course! We do not want our guests to have any empty stomachs! There will be light appetizers before the formal sit-down dinner, as well as a sit-down dinner. The food options are located on your RSVP card, so please make sure to pick what you want. We will also be having an open bar that will start when the light appetizers start. Again, please leave your children at home so you can fully enjoy our open bar!
