We met the summer after high school. My group of girlfriends from North High started to hang out with a group guys from South High. One day Alex joined the party. We were both nervous to make any sort of moves on each other, but we always ended up standing next to each other, partners for games, and going on Mc Donalds runs for anyone who was hungry. We found our excuses to do things together. Our friends knew we liked each other ( I'm guessing it was pretty obvious to everyone besides ourselves ). The summer after our Freshmen year of college Alex got the nerve to ask me to be his girlfriend and as of June 30th, 2013, we were "Officially" dating!

From what I knew, it was going to be a typical day of grilling out, enjoying some drinks, and playing spikeball. Ethan and Lisa were coming into town to hang out and Alex's friends joined. We were all having a good time and after we ate we were about to play spikeball. Right before Julio served the first point, Alex got down on one knee and proposed. I freaked out because I really wasn't expecting it ( otherwise I would have dressed a little nicer and painted my nails haha ). Besides Ethan, Lisa and Alex, no one else knew that was going to happen.
