Pennsylvania

Question

What's happening in Pennsylvania?

Answer

🥳 On Saturday May 25th starting at 2pm we will be having a party in New Hope, Pennsylvania to celebrate with our friends and family on this side of the Atlantic. It will include food, drinks, dancing, and highly competitive yard games.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

🚗 The party will be hosted at 109 Old Lane, New Hope PA, 19838. There will be plenty of parking, it's not NYC after all! If you are flying in, Newark Airport (EWR), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), and Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) are each about an hour away. Trenton Mercer Airport (TTN) is even closer at 10 miles away, but not many flights go there. If using public transportation from NYC, you can take NJ Transit to Hamilton Station and use Uber for the final stretch.

Question

Will the food and drinks be any good?

Answer

🥨🍺 Yes!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

👖 We won't be having a wedding ceremony, so no need to dress formally. Google tells me that "Casual" or "Smart Casual" could be great options for how to dress.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

🏠 There are many options, especially in the nearby towns of New Hope and Lambertville. We recommend checking the Logan Inn, Lambertville House, and Odette's, or one of the many Airbnb's nearby.

Question

Does anyone want to carpool?

Answer

🛺 Probably! After we receive RSVP's we will reach out to people who are located near each other to encourage traveling together.

Question

Are there fun things to do nearby if I make this into a weekend trip?

Answer

🪂 Absolutely! Here are some options: The towns of New Hope and Lambertville (5 miles away): These two towns on opposite sides of the Delaware river have plenty of interesting shops, restaurants, hotels, and bars. Rated the #4 best weekend getaway by Time Out New York! Philadelphia (40 miles): Even though Trip Advisor says the #1 thing to do in Philly is to visit an empty prison, there are many great things to do and see in the City of Brotherly Love. New York City (70 miles): Home of the world's best pizza.
