Brianna and Shaun’s journey began in college through mutual friends. While scrolling through Snapchat, Shaun saw a post from our Maid of Honor, Anaya, about missing her best friends, Brianna and Bella. Intrigued, Shaun decided to add Brianna as a friend. Brianna, then at Seton Hill University, was curious about this new Snapchat request and quickly asked, “Who are you? How do you know me?” What started as a simple exchange quickly blossomed into a daily conversation and a budding friendship. As they chatted, Brianna and Shaun discovered they had an astonishing amount of mutual friends from high school. Brianna had heard of a “Sean/Shawn” in her social circles but never made the connection that he was the Shaun destined to be her husband. Shaun, on the other hand, was amused by their overlapping worlds and the fact they had never met before. Their virtual connection soon led to an in-person meeting. Brianna invited Shaun to spend a weekend at Seton Hill University, and by April 12, 2019, their friendship had officially blossomed into a relationship. For those who have been with us from the beginning and those who have joined us along the way, we are deeply grateful for your support.
