Our love story started off as friends but we both realized, our friendship was much more. On our first date he invited me over to watch a movie and we took Spike walk. Spike stole my heart first, watching him retrieve ball after ball when Brian instructed him too. I loved watching them together. I think Spike knew before both of us that we were going to share a lifetime of adventures together.
We love to fish together! Little did I know, Brian had more than fishing on his mind - which is not normal. We went up north with a few friends for the weekend to land some pike and burbot. On the second morning, Brian and I got up early, excited to check our lines. At the first hole, Brian told me to check the line and I pulled up a pike. He instructed me to grab the pliers from the sled and when I returned, he was down on one knee, and asked, “will you marry me?” I was so surprized and of course I said, “yes!” He handed me the box and headed back to the sled to check more holes. I had to call him back over to tell him to put the ring on me! It was the best moment of my life and after sharing a few tears of joy, I took off the ring and put it safely in the box and continued to check our lines.
In light of the current health restrictions, we have decided to have a smaller than planned ceremony. We sincerely appreciate your support and if you are not joining us in person we would love if you could join us virtually as we say "I do." Virtual details are under the "schedule" tab of the site. RSVP to receive a Zoom link to access the ceremony or revisit our site the day of the event and there will be a button to virtually attend under the RSVP tab. With love, Laura & Brian
