FAQs

We are glad you will be joining us for our special day. We encourage you to reach out to our travel agent to get started on planning your destination travels. Any and all questions are answered below. Kindly review ALL FAQ's before reaching out to us.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please click on the RSVP tab and RSVP by January 15, 2026.

Question

What If I Don't RSVP In Time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by January 15, 2026, we will not be able to include you in our guest count. Our vendors need an exact guest count by this date and cannot accept late RSVP's. This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.

Question

What Should I Do If I Can't Make It?

Answer

We will miss you! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your children, we have decided to keep our special day adults only! Additionally, Sandals Dunn's River is an adults-only resort (18+).

Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

No, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Additionally, when you go to RSVP, it will have your plus 1 listed if you are receiving one. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire. We request that all guests wear shades of brown to our ceremony. Please view the Dress Code Inspiration tab for pictures and color palettes to follow. Be mindful of your shoe choice as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are in three different locations, and some walking is involved.

Question

What Will The Weather Be?

Answer

For a mid‑June wedding in Jamaica, expect warm, humid weather with highs around 88°F and lows in the mid‑70s. Liquid Sunshine is common but usually brief. We recommend light, breathable attire and sunscreen.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. Please make your way to the Ocean Front Terrance by 3:30 PM to ensure you are able to be seated before the ceremony begins. You will not be able to be seated after 4:00 PM.

Question

Can I Take Photos and Videos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not have your phone or camera out during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be capturing all of our special moments, and we do not want any phones in our photos!

Question

Where do I go after the ceremony?

Answer

Please remain seated until the wedding party has exited. Please make your way to cocktail hour at the Coyaba Wedding Pavilion. Resort staff will be there to direct you in the right direction. Please do not approach the wedding party or immediate family, as they have a limited amount of time to get portraits started.

Question

Will There Be A Bar?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar in addition to our signature cocktails. Non-alcoholic options will be available as well.

Question

What if I have a question the day of the wedding? Who do I speak with?

Answer

Our Day of Wedding Coordinator's information will become available approxiatemly 2 weeks prior to our wedding. Please check back here during that time to get their point of contact, should you have any questions regarding our special day. Additionally, the staff around the resort will be able to point you in the right direction of the different ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations. We ask that you kindly do not reach out to our immediate family or wedding party on the day of the wedding, as they will be very busy!

Question

How Can I Contribute to Your Registry?

Answer

The greatest gift you could give us is your presence on our special day! However, we are registered at several places, and if you wish to contribute, we suggest you do so to our newlywed fund. They can all be accessed through our registry tab and will be updated regularly.

Question

Is the Resort All-Inclusive?

Answer

Yes, Sandals Dunn's River is an all-inclusive resort. This means drinks, food, and resort activities are included in your stay. Please speak with our travel agent for more details on this subject.
