It's finally happening!

Our love of soccer brought us together in 2013, while each of us were playing for our college teams, but it wasn't until we went on a group outing to Pennhurst Asylum that our relationship really took off. While one of us is a bit more on the quiet side, the other was determined to spark conversation. We quickly realized that we had a lot in common - we loved The Lumineers, classic cars, coffee and pancakes, and our mom's even had the same maiden name (don't worry... we checked! Definitely NOT related lol). The rest is pretty much history!

"On September 18, 2021, while on a weekend getaway with some friends, we went on a hike to Sam's Point in Upstate New York. I planned on popping the question at a scenic overlook at the end of the hike. The hike was a loop through ice caves and you had to pass the overlook on the way up. Bri, of course, wanted to see the overlook while we were on the way up and we had to convince her it was better to do the rest of the hike and end there. When we finally got to the overlook and decided on the best spot, everyone took turns having photos taken. When it was our turn, and we walked out onto the cliff, I was cool as a cucumber up until I had to pull out the ring. I got down on one knee and Bri only managed to say a few words.... 'Are you f*&#ing kidding me?!' and then, eventually, she said yes." - Stefan
