Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES. This is a destination wedding outside of the United States of America. A valid passport is required. (Make sure your passport will NOT be expiring within 6 months of travel.)

Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is about a 15 min drive to the resort.

What are the accommodations?

There are two hotels on the property, Hyatt Ziva (ALL ages) and Hyatt Zilara (Adults ONLY)

Where should I stay?

ALL wedding guests are required to stay at either the Hyatt Ziva or Hyatt Zilara. There will not be any passes to enter the property the day of the wedding.

Are food and drinks included with resort stay?

Answer

YES, this is an all-inclusive hotel which means, all food and drinks are included with your stay. However, there are extra activities on the property that do require an additional fee.

Is gratuity included at this hotel?

Answer

No, gratuity is not included. It’s best to bring small bills to tip servers and hotel staff.

Yes. The resort offers free parking to all guests.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our evening ceremony will be outdoors at the Hyatt Ziva Beach Gazebo. The cocktail hour and reception will also be outdoors that will take place at the Hyatt Ziva Terrace.

Are plus ones allowed?

We aren't allowing plus-ones at our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Our wedding attire is Island Formal; Think blends of tropical, breathable fabrics with elevated, sophisticated styling suitable for an upscale beachfront or resort setting.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony . We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
