We’ll be staying at The Stanford Court in Nob Hill for the wedding week, and while there are plenty of great options throughout the city, we’ve secured an exclusive group rate to help make it easier (and more convenient) for us all to stay close together. The group rate is available for check-in between December 29, 2025, and January 1, 2026. Flight
San Francisco International (SFO) is the primary gateway, offering the most direct flights from the East Coast and abroad. It's conveniently connected to downtown via BART, making travel into the city straightforward and efficient.
Train
Purchasing Train Fare: Plan ahead and add the Clipper app to your phone before arriving. Clipper is a regional transit card that works on all Bay Area trains, buses, ferries, and cable cars. BART no longer sells paper tickets, so the app is the easiest way to pay. ────────────────── BART from San Francisco International Airport (SFO): Take the free AirTrain to the BART station in the International Terminal. Board the Yellow OR Red Line toward San Francisco/Antioch or Richmond and exit at Powell Street Station. Estimated travel time: 60 minutes Estimated Fare: $12 From Powell, it’s a ~15-minute uphill walk to the hotel, or take a Lyft, Uber, taxi, cable car, or Muni bus. ────────────────── BART from Oakland International Airport (OAK): Take the BART Airport Connector (AirBART) from between Terminals 1 and 2 to Coliseum Station. Transfer to the Blue OR Green line toward Daly City and exit at Powell Street Station. Estimated travel time: 60 minutes Estimated Fare: $13 From Powell, walk ~15 minutes uphill or connect via Lyft, Uber, taxi, or public transit. ────────────────── Rideshare to the Hotel: If you’d prefer to skip public transportation, Uber and Lyft are readily available at both airports. From SFO: Follow signs to “Ride Share” or “Uber/Lyft.” Head to Level 5 of the Domestic Parking Garage. Choose your pickup zone in the app. Ride time: 20–40 minutes Estimated Fare: $40–70 From OAK: Pickups are at the third curb (Sections 3C2–3C9) outside baggage claim. Estimated Ride time: 30–50 minutes Fare: $50–80
Travel Note
It’s San Francisco, ride-shares are easy to find, and public transit is a fun and efficient way to explore the city! As noted above, Stanford Court's daily parking rate is $75, so unless you have plans to explore outside the city, we recommend skipping the rental car. Instead, use Uber, Lyft, taxis, Muni buses, or even the iconic Cable Cars to get around with ease during your stay.
