Kindon & I met the summer of 2018. I had just accepted an assistant coaching job at Ball State in Indiana & he worked on the men's side as a director of basketball operations. I remember my first couple of weeks in the office, I would walk past his office & he would always look at me. Being new to Muncie, I was open to having new friends so Kindon & I started out as just that. He was very welcoming from day 1. We would hang out, play games like phase 10, go to sporting events together & go out to eat. We were together so much that everyone thought we were dating, but we weren't at the time. A few months later, we both were single & still remained friends as we continued to personally grow. Fast forward a year, we started to take things a little more serious & in January of 2020 he asked me to be his girlfriend. From then on, we started to build a foundation & had many talks about what we wanted our future to look like together! We experienced many adventures together over the few years we knew each other but nothing compared to the adventure we took to STL on June 5th. A few days after both of our birthdays he got down on one knee asked me to marry him in-front of both of our families. It's crazy to meet someone who is the exact same person as you but in man form. I couldn't be any more thankful to have found my best friend who I get to do life with! We can't wait to celebrate OUR big day with you ALL!!
