How We Met - Bride's Version

Dom & I met while we were both students at Kent State University. An invitation from a mutual friend to a party landed me and my roommates at Dom's house one August night in 2013. Dom caught my eye immediately.. soooo handsome. Over the next few weeks something just kept bringing us back to each other.. I would end up at a party of his, run into him at a bar, see him at the gym, and (shockingly) find him studying at the library. Soon enough we started doing those things together.. we even decided to take a class together (italian, of course). Me being the hard working, quiet student, I was amazed how a person could literally charm their way through passing a class. You could say that experiencing the differences in how we appraoched life is what drew me to him. It wasn't until February 8, 2014 that he asked me to be his girlfriend (always taking his time). A week later he said "I love you" for the first time on Valentine's Day while enjoying Marco's pizza (our forever fave). Eight years, two careers, two dogs, three apartments, a house, and lots of other amazing events later.. we have truly grown together & come so far. I can’t wait to marry him ❤️

How We Met - Groom's Version

On a random night in the early fall of 2013, I was awoken to the sounds of my roommates and friends coming back from a night out. I had already been sleeping at this point, but against my will I was forced to toss on a nice shirt and host an impromptu party. At that point in my life, I was still living out my dream of becoming the real-world version of Van Wilder. Going strong into what was my first super-senior year, I was fully content in not having a plan, being as unorganized as humanly possible, and only doing what served me in the present. Enter Bri. As anyone who knows Bri could probably relate, the first gift I received from her was a steady dose of her RBF. The gifts, however, did not end there. In the 8 years that have followed that fateful evening, Bri has given me undying support in whatever I’ve chosen to do while also giving my life the structure that I never knew I needed. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her, attitude and all.
