With two more months before the wedding, this is our tentative plan. We anticipate that social distancing and mask coverings will be required to ensure a safe celebration. We are currently devising several alternative plans, but it is likely our original numbers will go down significantly. We feel that we have a personal responsibility to do our part to keep guests safe and make a decision that will be beneficial to everyone's health. We know there are many who may not be able to attend, and we are working on alternatives to include everyone in as many ways as possible. We will be sending out final invitations near September.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend. We hope to include as many people as possible, but currently the situation is fluid and we are remaining flexible in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We are calling it spooky-formal. Ladies may wear cocktail dresses or nice pants, and men may wear a suit and tie. Of course, we would love it if your semi-formal attire had a Halloween flair to it with some spooky leggings, creepy jewelry, or some Halloween socks.
We will have costumes provided for the reception. However, you may spook-ify your face mask!
The wedding is late October, so it may be chilly. Please remember to prepare for the cold because the ceremony will be outside weather permitting.
