Brighton
Our wedding is being held in Brighton, MI, a small town 25 minutes north of Ann Arbor and about 1 hour from Detroit. Michigan summers are absolutely incredibly, with lots to do in the outdoors. On top of many parks and recreation areas, Brighton has a beautiful downtown with shops and restaurants, including lots of walkable areas.
Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor is truly a college town with character. Go into Kerrytown and walk the cobblestone streets or head downtown to eat some really good food and soak up the college football atmosphere!
Sushi Zen
Brighton has a unsurprisingly awesome sushi restaurant, where folks come from miles around to eat. If you're craving sushi and want a great place, go here!
Airborne Adventure Park
If you want a place to take the kids for a few hours, the Airborne Adventure Park is a great place to let the kids blow off some steam.
Kensington Metropark
If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful nature spot, Kensington is just about 10 minutes outside Brighton of 96 and has tons of walks/hikes, golfing, water activities *including paddle boat rentals*, check out Kensington, even if it's just for a cool drive through.
