Travel

Ithaca is a little off the beaten path, but there are many ways to get there depending on your tolerance for planes and driving! We recommend arriving a few days early or staying a few days late to explore the area (see "Things To Do"). In addition to the ceremony on Sunday, we plan to organize some optional group activities on Saturday.

Flight

Ithaca Airport

If you can find convenient and reasonably priced flights directly into Ithaca (ITH), we certainly recommend that option! It's a small airport, which limits which connections can take you there. From the airport it is a quick trip downtown via car/rideshare or city bus.

Flight

Regional Airports

Syracuse (SYR) is often a good alternative when flights to ITH don't work out. It is about an hour's drive away, but there are regular buses to Ithaca operated by OurBus and Greyhound. Plus, Syracuse might have more options for rental cars. Worth considering! Elmira (ELM) and Binghamton (BGM) are smaller regional airports to check out as well.

Rental Car

Driving

Although Ithaca is a walkable city (the Farmers Market is a half hour walk from Downtown along quiet streets), you may want to consider driving into town or renting a vehicle to explore the area (sightseeing recommendations to come!). We expect a handful of our guests from the Northeast will be driving.

Hotel

Quality Inn Ithaca - University Area

356 Elmira Road
Ithaca, NY 14850

If you're looking for a good nightly rate on a hotel, we've set up a room block at the Quality Inn! It's nothing fancy, but it's a solid hotel with free breakfast. It's also father-of-the-bride approved! (he stayed there once when visiting Caitlyn in Ithaca). You are of course not obligated to join the room block - if you find a better rate elsewhere or are looking for different amenities, go for it!

House Or Rental

Airbnb

If you're looking for an Airbnb for the weekend, we recommend looking for one in the Fall Creek neighborhood which is within walking distance of the venue, downtown Ithaca, and Cornell's campus if you're willing to walk up the hill!
