Both will take place at The Barn at Allen Acres, 2206 Prophet Rd, Rock Falls, IL 61071.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we adore the little ones in our lives, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair to ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves to the fullest.

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate everyone, our venue has limitations, and we've made careful considerations regarding our guest list. Therefore, we kindly request that only those individuals listed on the invitation attend. However, if you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We're more than happy to discuss any inquiries or special circumstances you may have. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of our special day!

The dress code is Semi-Formal. (Be sure to bring an extra jacket or sweater in case temperatures drop!)

Of course. Please be mindful of the professional photographer so that he can do his very best to capture every moment.

Will transport be provided?

Answer

Transport will not be provided, as the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue. Please plan accordingly for your departure from the event to a local hotel/AirBnB (or home) safely. We suggest determining a designated driver or using a rideshare app if you plan on enjoying the open bar. No drinking & driving! **Guests Will Also Be Allowed To Leave Their Vehicle Parked At The Venue Overnight—Must Be Removed No Later Than 10:30 AM The Following Day**

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held within the farm’s beautiful 1920s barn and the reception will take place outdoors. (As it will be the fall season, please be sure to dress warm or bring a coat in case temperatures drop).

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking is available on-site. Signs will be posted directing guests. *Guests Are Allowed To Leave Their Vehicles Parked At The Venue Overnight Should You Choose To Use A Rideshare App/Cab/Designated Driver After The Festivities—Vehicles Must Be Removed No Later Than 10:30 AM Sunday (10/13)*

There are multiple hotels located near the venue. Please visit the “Travel” tab on our website (Zola) to view a few options. For larger families, we suggest checking out Airbnb for deals. Please book accommodations in advance.

While we are incorporating many customary traditions for this event, our wedding will be anything but traditional. Food will be provided with various options to choose from. *Please let us know if you have any allergies to specific ingredients and we’ll do our best to reserve a dedicated space for such dishes far and away from your plate!
