If you’re looking for the glitz and glamour of Nashville with all the loud and live music you can handle this should be top of your to do lists while in town!
This is our favorite place to bring friends and family who come into town. 3-4 song writers take the stage and play their songs that were top hits, just released, or newly created. The songwriters tell the background on their lyrics inspiration and often crack jokes with the crowd and their fellow songwriters. Every time it’s something different but it’s always guaranteed to be a great time!
If you’re looking for some local wine to sip in the southern sun then this is where you want to be!
If you have a car and are willing to dedicate a half day to an activity this is a fun choice. The grounds are pretty massive, the history is actually quite interesting and there are tastings to be had at the end of most tours. It’s a good idea to book this well in advance to secure a tour spot, they go quickly.
Possibly more history tour than food tour (although the food is still plentiful with 7 different stops along the way) this is a fun half day outing that scrambles around the different burrows of Nashville. It’s the south, so you can’t beat the food and the tour guide is fantastic!
This is mostly for all of my Washington friends, but if you leave Nashville without eating hot chicken or bbq then put bluntly, you wasted your trip. For barbecue your top choices are Etly’s or Martin’s. You can’t go wrong with either option (as long as you get a side of Mac and Cheese). Hot chicken is a staple of Nashville and should not be missed out on. Hattie B’s is our personal go to but Princes is also another option. Once again, don’t forget about the side of Mac and Cheese.
