Best Man
Often mistaken as one of Brian's roommates, Dan and Brian met at CMU while living in the dorms and have been close friends since. The two studied together, worked on the Baja SAE car together, and spent many Wednesday nights at The Cabin together. Now, they play golf, swim, travel, and hang out regularly. Dan is passionate about anything related to sports, and always has a fun historical fact or highlight ready to go. Dan is friendly, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand. In college, he literally pushed a near-stranger’s car out of a heavily flooded area instead of going to class because they were stuck and needed help. That selfless kindness is a regular occurrence for him, and is one of the many reasons why Brian is proud to call Dan his Best Man (or “Best Dan”).
Maid of Honor
Tara met Ally during their freshman year orientation at CMU. Ally decided to help push the wheelchair of the girl who had just undergone her second ACL repair. Little did we know then that it would change our lives for the better. After that, Ally and Tara became best friends for the next 4 years of undergrad where we would watch Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit together while doing homework and studying for all of our classes. Our journey separated when we went to different schools for our Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees, but we always stayed close. Ally is one of those people you will never forget once you meet her. She is strong willed, compassionate, and hard working. She always pushed me to be a better person and I could not imagine anyone else by my side on this wonderful day.
Groomsman
Jon and Brian were neighbors and roommates throughout their time at CMU. Jon was always willing to lend a helping hand to Brian, and many others, in school, and was a mentor for many of those around him while at CMU. While he may act like he's hard to get along with, deep down, he's a personable and caring person who would do whatever it takes to help a friend. Maybe one day he'll admit to that, but we doubt it.
Bridesmaid, Sister of the Bride
As many of you know, Kayla is my twin. As we grew up we did everything together, from soccer, to basketball, to classes, and to even going to the same college for undergrad. It just seemed right that she would be standing by my side on my special day. She is my best friend and worst enemy at the same time. She is relentless, passionate, and caring.
Groomsman
"Student of the Month - All Year Long" Denver and Brian have been friends since they were children, and despite living so far apart still feel like close friends whenever their together. He is a friend, a teacher, and a role model (and literal model) for many.
Bridesmaid
Tara met Maya at the end of our first year in DPT school during the pandemic. She is a no holds back, pacific north westerner, with a huge heart and a talent for knowing what to say in every situation.
Groomswoman
Truly one of a kind. Bailey is outgoing, friendly, and spreads positive energy wherever she is at. She and Brian have been good friends since middle school, and still regularly talk despite living across the country from each other.
Bridesmaid
Tara met Ara in the end of my first year at DPT school during the pandemic. She is a no holds back, upstate New Yorker, who constantly pushes people to be the best version of themselves. She also supports Tara's crazy book collection (problem).
Groomsman
Brian and Max have been friends from middle school through college, and still talk daily. Max is a loyal friend who is always making new opportunities to live life to the fullest. Sharing a love of all things super heroes and sports, the two always have a reason to have a healthy civil debate over Xbox.
Bridesmaid
Tara met Emily at the end of my first year in my DPT program during the pandemic. We quickly became friends which turned into us living together during our second year of the program. She is a fun-loving, Midwesterner who always has non-stop energy that radiates to everyone around her.
