After hearing about each other through mutual friends, Brian decided to send Shawna a message on Instagram. What started as a simple DM quickly turned into daily conversations, and just two weeks later, on February 15, 2020, they made it official. Only a month into dating, Covid shut the world down. Brian, a then Senior in High School, and Shawna a Junior, spent lockdown together. From that point on, they became inseparable. Over the past five years, their journey has been filled with love and adventure: celebrating high school and college graduations, becoming “parents” to their dogs, Honey and Levi, and cat, Maple, and cheering for South Carolina and Greenbay games. They are so excited to start the next chapter of their lives together and can’t wait to celebrate with you in December!
