Have you ever heard of high school sweethearts? Well, trust me, it wasn’t always sweet, but the butterflies never stopped fluttering. I still remember our freshman year of high school, seeing this tall, handsome guy walk past my classroom with a smile that could light up an entire room. I knew his best friend, Isaac, would help me learn more about him, and he did. From that moment on, we laughed, flirted, and found ourselves drawn to each other in ways we couldn’t explain. As time passed, life took a few unexpected turns. But by our junior year, we had become inseparable, realizing that our love for one another was deeper than either of us ever imagined possible. Of course, life wasn’t always easy. We faced challenges that tested us in ways we never expected, especially when we became parents during our senior year. From graduating high school to stepping into parenthood, we experienced obstacles, growth, heartbreak, and healing. There were moments when life led us down separate paths, but even in the distance, our love never truly faded. In fact, the time apart only allowed our hearts to grow fonder and stronger for one another. Now, we have reached a beautiful chapter in our lives, one where we know without a doubt that we want nothing more than to spend forever together. Our very first date began at the beach, and now we want to return to where so many cherished memories started. Surrounded by our family and friends, we cannot wait to celebrate our love as we unite as one, hand in hand, heart to heart, forever. -Sha'Kerah I met Sha'kerah during a time in my life that I found out maybe opposites do attract. Even though she was a pretty hot cheerleader I didn't know I would find myself listening to the background noise of Harry Potter almost every September. I've watched both our growth from adolescents to adulthood become more progressive with love and finding our own happiness within each other. She makes my heart smile more than I knew I needed but she completes the puzzle that I believe has been worth building together. -Brian
