"It was love at first swipe." As any typical millennial we met on a dating app. We both were looking for someone who passionately loved the Lord and had a well established career and dreams. We talked for about 3-weeks and went on our first date on Martin Luther King Day 2018. Savannah had just flown back from a trip to Arizona, and Brian decided to seize the opportunity of Savannah being in Chicago by taking her on a magical date. They went to lunch, ice skated at Maggie Daley park, strolled along Michigan Ave. and ended with a cocktail at the Chicago Athletic Association. Ever since that date, we have only grown to care for one another more and to pursue the Lord in our relationship everyday.
Brian bought Savannah her first pair of ice skates as a present for finishing graduate school. That weekend we tested out our new skates at Maggie Daly park, where we had our first date. After three laps around the ribbon, Brian queued his photographer, positioned us towards the Chicago skyline, and asked Savannah the biggest question. "Will you marry me?"
