Kate is a long-time family friend of the Cassidys. She started as Brian's youth pastor and has since been an incredible mentor and friend over the years. Kate is not only our amazing officiant but will certainly be the life the party, as she is never without a cooler of beverages. Kate your love and support means the world to us. We are so grateful to have you officiate our ceremony!
Kelli Fox
Maid of Honor
Kelli is Samantha's Delta Zeta Big and truly her big sister. She has been the best and worst influence in her life. They met while bonding over a love of Audrey Hepburn and Kelli drove Sam around when she was a freshman and their relationship continued with encouraging poor decisions and bossing Sam around any chance she got. Kelli is always there to answer her medical questions, give questionable advice, and constantly gives Brian a hard time. Even with her sass, Kelli always has Sam's back and is in her corner. As Sam's been to more wedding with Kelli than any other human, there is no one more fitting to be her Maid of Honor.
Chelsea Utz

Chelsea is Samantha's *biological* sister. While the two are very different, their relationship in adulthood has grown so much! She's been consistent in showing up for both Samantha and Brian through their relationship even if that means being around two people that like to talk WAY more than she does. Samantha couldn't imagine getting married without her!
Layla Utz
Flower Girl
Layla is "Mantha" and Brian's niece and our favorite tiny human. We love her very much and are grateful to have her as the flower girl for our wedding. We all know she's going to be the star of the show!
Caitlin Cassidy
Bridesmaid
Caitlin is Brian's sister and Samantha's sister in law. She and Sam bonded over a mutual love of reading and she always has ideas to share for the wedding and tries to convince us to visit Orlando when we're able. Of the Cassidys, her sense of humor and attitude is unmatched! As Caitlin is the only girl of the Cassidy kids, Samantha is happy to give Caitlin another sister to have around.
Adam Cassidy

Adam is Brian's oldest brother. Growing up Brian always liked getting to hangout with his older brother and the big kids. Later as adults, Brian and Adam would build on their relationship by leading Ohio State service trips together as student/faculty member. They even lived together in Columbus for a time, same as when they were kids! Adam is an amazing artist and secretly a magician. You can always spot him looking like a GQ model with perfectly, coiffed hair! Adam has always been someone Brian looks up to and is an obvious choice as a groomsman.
Sean Cassidy
Groomsman
Sean is Brian's middle brother and longtime partner in crime. Sean works today as an amazing Spanish teacher, and his ability to teach has always been evident. Being Brian's role model and protector throughout all their childhood, Sean has always been there for his youngest brother. Brian is thankful to have always had a built-in best friend in his brother. Sean has always shown him how to unapologetically be yourself and live life to the fullest!
Jake Kowal

Jake is Brian's oldest (and tallest) friend. Brian and Jake grew up together on Lewiston Rd and since day 1 have been best buds. From trips to the beach, to playing Nintendo, and games of Fishy Fishy at block party's; the memories truly are endless. I am grateful for a friend like Jake, who is fun, loyal, adventurous and unbelievably kind. He is truly my brother from another mother, love you pal.
Jeff Light

Jeff is one of Brian's best friends. They met when being paired as roommates their freshmen year at Ohio State. Jeff and Brian lived together throughout all of college and were always seen together as the inseparable, dynamic duo. Years later, Brian is very grateful for the years of fast friendship and Jeff is someone he can always rely on. Jeff is truly a living legend, you cannot miss in a room!
Katherine Carlson

Katherine is Samantha's long-time best friend from high school. Their friendship started in middle school and they spent lots of time together watching movies during their study halls and talking about boys, at countless sporting events and marching band practices, and lots of girls nights. From growing up in Grand Valley, a mutual love of books and cats, visiting each other in their cities, and now to sharing in each other's weddings Samantha is very thankful to have her in each new life stage!
Taylor Price

Taylor is Samantha's coworker, turned best friend, turned neighbor. There is no one who has had as clear of a front row seat to Brian and Samantha's relationship than Taylor. She listened to every story Samantha shared when she and Brian first started dating and has made lots of memories with them over the years including always being our photographer and hype woman. Whether its a porch coffee date and life chat, a walk with Sophie, or a movie night, she's there and is such an important part of our lives. She's been a constant support for both Brian and Samantha and we couldn't have our day without her!
Kayli Popple

Kayli is another coworker turned best friend for Samantha. She became one of Sam's closest friends after graduate school and the two have spent tons of time in Columbus together over the years having friend dates of good vibes and lots of fun. She was actually there at the pool the day that Brian and Sam met! Kayli is always there for a good time or a life chat and we are so thankful to have her (and her husband!) in our lives!
Lindsey Hughes

Lindsey is one of Samantha's Delta Zeta sisters and college best friends. While distance makes it difficult to spend time together often, they always jump back to their old ways. From dancing at date parties and dressing up in costumes in college, to bachelorette parties and visits, they always have the most fun! Lindsey is beyond kind and supportive and Sam couldn't imagine getting married without her.
Melissa Downs

Missy is another Delta Zeta and college best friend/roommate for Samantha. They've shared many football games, nights out, and chill nights in and Missy always knows how to bring the party to the dance floor. Some of Sam's favorite memories in college are when she and Miss lived together and Missy's humor, honesty and authenticity are what make her an amazing friend. Whether they're hanging out in Nashville, Columbus, or Houston, Sam and Miss always have the best time and our wedding wouldn't be the same without her!
Isabel Fernandez

Isa is the person that introduced Sam and Brian! She met Brian through a service trip to Paraguay and Sam through Columbus Acro Play. Sam and Isa have had lots of fun exploring Columbus and traveling for acro together. She is always open for adventure and Sam and Isa's friendship was solidified during a late night packing party turned sleep over, numerous coffee dates, and too many wine nights. We're so glad that she introduced us so that we could be here today!
