We won’t bore you, but it happened on the way to the summit of Cadillac Mountain in Maine, at sunrise. We had gotten up at 3 am and prepared ourselves to hike in an early morning winter wonderland. With headlamps turned on and crampons secured to our feet, we hiked up in 2 feet of snow. The bride, clueless, smacked her hiking poles together all through the hike to scare away any bears. Racing the sunrise, we chose a random but perfect viewpoint, a most serendipitous find. The sun began to peek out in front of us- the first sight of sunrise on the east coast. We sat on a rock and took in the serenity of it all. Then, the groom said “let’s get up and take a selfie” ...and then instead got down on one knee and popped the question. You know the rest. Truly, one of the best days ever. We're very excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all. See you back on the East Coast!
