We're getting married!

Paige and Brian both grew up in Troy just around the corner from one another's childhood home, but it wasn't until college- following a dinosaur themed conversation at a close mutual friend's party- that they truly connected. After bolstering his confidence through having his buddy Tom confirm Paige's mutual interest, Brian made a move. One date turned into two, two dates into seven happy years.

In September of 2012, under fireworks at the Greenfield Village car show, Brian asked Paige to be his girlfriend and received a resounding yes. Five years later on July 4th, 2017, watching fireworks launched from a distant mountain peak and still on a high from a week of hiking and exploration in the idyllic town of Ouray, Colorado, Brian turned to Paige and told her that he had a different question this time. He presented her with a box, which after a moment of laughter he realized contained the second box which he was aiming to show her, and inside of that was a ring. This time, he asked her to be his wife.
