Wedding Party

(Brian went a little overboard)

Elista Burneisen

Maid of Honor

Our friendship started in second grade (my jealousy of her being teacher's pet in the first grade delayed things). From our "Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls" sing-alongs to attending Penn State together, I am so happy to have this aspiring Kelly Rippa by my side on the big day and always!

Josh Holden

Best Man

Let me take you back to Avery Park in the mid 1990's where our friendship began as we became teammates for the same club soccer team. Our relationship continued to blossom in middle school while running poles at baseball practice. Fast forward to Scioto High School soccer and our frequent nighttime loitering experiences in the Wendy's parking lot enjoying our favorite frosty and discussing current events. After High School graduation, our relationship hit a road bump where, for the first time, we would become opponents on the soccer field. For the next four years, we battled for different teams in the same college soccer conference. My Best Man then, now and always.

Jennifer Flynn

Bridesmaid

My future sister-in-law! I could not be more excited to finally have a sister (only child here) and she is someone I truly look up to. She also makes THE cutest babies and I am so thankful she has made me an aunt and Brian an uncle!

Rob Grubaugh

Groomsman

Born to be cousins. In a family dominated by women, Rob and I knew we had to stick together early on. I followed every step he took. Well, except quitting a sport to join the band. I followed him to Wittenberg University, down to Hilton Head to try a career in golf and most recently joined him back in Columbus, Ohio pursuing a career other than golf. I have always looked up to Rob and am thankful to have him by my side.

Jordan Williams

Bridesmaid

My cousin and P.I.C at all family functions (and non-family functions). She's my style and interior designer idol and I couldn't ask for a sweeter cousin and friend. Look for her on the dance floor. She's got the moves like Jagger!

Anthony Ianiro

Groomsman

PSA... don't let social media cloud your judgements and beliefs. Long story short, we became Facebook friends prior to starting our freshman year at Wittenberg. I noticed his good looks and our soon-to-be female classmates that were "writing on his wall" while my "wall" was empty. First day of soccer practice arrives and I knew I wasn't going to like him. WRONG! We were inseparable for the next four years and have become lifelong friends. Twelve years later, Morgan and I became proud Godparents to Anthony and Emily's first born, Ava Belle.

Melissa Kirwin

Bridesmaid

"The Queen of England," (as my dad likes to call her) has been stirring up trouble with me since grade school. We performed an Aladdin and Jasmine duet of "A Whole New World" many moons ago, but we now prefer Karaoke (with adult beverages).

Joe Zeller

Groomsman

Dear Termite, Like a fine wine, our friendship gets better as the years pass by. Our Wittenberg years were good but still needed time in the cellar. The aging process began with your frequent trips down to Hilton Head, our unforgettable hotel stay in Louisville for the PGA Championship and your impromptu decision to join myself and the rest of the HHI crew on a 5-day cruise to the Caribbean. My move back to Columbus was made easier knowing you were there as well. Thank you for taking the necessary time to make our friendship a fine one. Over and Out, Brown Bear

Carly Hilliard

Bridesmaid

Carl (no I didn't forget the "y") is a best bud from Hilton Head. Thankfully, she is from the Columbus area and has also moved here. She is trying to turn me into a Buckeye fan but it will never, ever, ever happen. It's been so much fun getting to explore Columbus with her!

PJ Politan

Groomsman

Grocery bags of beer: $50. Dollar Vodka night at Wild Wing Cafe: $10. PJ's friendship: Priceless. I would spend every dime I have to find a friendship like this one. Friend, roommate, boss - no matter what role PJ played in my life, he was there to provide support, laughter, advice, and knowledge. Family dinner nights with Frank Sinatra, golf trips up to Philadelphia, Caddie Pro Classic, just to name a few, would not have been possible without him. I am truly grateful for this guy.

Meaghan O'Reilly

Bridesmaid

I met Meaghan while living in the Lowcountry and she is the most hilarious Irish gal I know (who loves a good G&T). I also do not enjoy celebrating St. Patrick's day without her! This girl could put a smile on anyone's face. She seriously makes me laugh every single day and has a heart of pure gold!

Christoper Marinaro

Groomsman

I arrived for my first day of work at Sea Pines Resort and there he was, the guy everyone was talking about. How good could he be? I found my answer a few months later when we played a 9 hole match with just one club at Harbour Town Golf Links. With only a 7 iron, Chris shot an even par 36 with a double on the last hole. Although he has not made me a better golfer, he has made me a better person. There will always be a spot for Chris in my foursome.

Ann Maness

Bridesmaid

I met this southern bell during my time living in Hilton Head and she taught me that "Gamecock" is not a bad word (Go Cocks!) We will soon be celebrating her big day down south where this friendship began!

Kyle Maloney

Groomsman

The familiar story of two Ohioans who cross paths in Hilton Head. Kyle and I first met at 2 Hickory Lane, a place that would soon become the confines for countless starving golf professionals. The home cooked meals, his legendary dizzy bat home run, and the most infectious laugh of all time are just a few of many memories I have of Kyle. A good golfer, great chef and an even better friend.

Sara Stanton

Bridesmaid

My cousin, friend, and the best listener I know. We are only 18 days apart and spent just about every waking second together as kiddos. Although North Carolina and Ohio are not so close, I know she is only a phone call away. We have come a long way from our bowl cuts, cuz!

Chris "Hoagie" Hoagland

Groomsman

Hoagie and I met down in Hilton Head lugging oversized golf bags around Harbour Town Golf Links. Although he was better and much faster, soccer gave us an instant connection. Chris is one of the greatest friends a guy could ask for. He is by far the most dependable person I know. I could write a novel describing all of the times Chris went out of his way to accommodate his friends in need. Thank you for always answering my phone calls. Tough Mudders for life!
