Question

Are children invited?

Answer

If your invite was addressed to your "Family," then your children are invited to attend. Feel free to bring the kiddos to our welcome party on Friday evening, and the wedding and reception on Saturday. Please no children under 21 for the afterparty on Saturday night.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! We've rented the entire grounds and first floor of the historic Marshall House. The ceremony and reception will take place primarily on the grounds outside of the house; however, the bar and buffet area will be located inside.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding, we encourage "cocktail attire" and comfortable shoes for dancing and walking on the grass. Bridesmaids will be dressed in moss green and mustard yellow and the groomsmen will wear navy blue. For the welcome party, please feel free to dress casually.

Question

Am I invited to the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! If you are invited to the wedding, please join us for appetizers and drinks on Friday night. We will be in the "Gymnasium" at the Kennedy School kicking off the weekend with family and friends from 7:30-10 pm. Feel free to stop by at any time and come and go as you please.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

For the wedding, there is limited parking across the street from Marshall House and additional parking lots located near the Fort rotary and Vancouver Barracks a 5-10 minute walk away. We recommend Uber, Lyft, and taxis to the extent possible. For the welcome party, there is a lot at the Kennedy School which should have ample parking. Street parking in the neighborhood is also available where permitted.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will be serving an Italian dinner, buffet-style, including chicken parmigiana, pasta, salad, and bread. If you have any food allergies or dietary preferences please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please feel free to RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than July 1st, 2024.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

While gifts are by no means necessary, if you feel so inclined, we have set up a honeymoon fund and wishlist on our registry. Gifts through the registry can be mailed to our home so that you don't have to carry anything extra with you! We also will have a card box at the wedding.
