Officiant
MaryAnn and I met in 1988 in a little town outside of Charlotte, NC. I looked into those big, beautiful brown eyes and knew we’d be tied at the heart forever.
Maid of Honor
I’ve known MaryAnn all my life. From our matching outfits days to sports to college to NY to our yearly sister’s trip. Life has been a great adventure with MaryAnn and I’m looking forward in being a part of this new beginning in your life.

I met Brian almost exactly 29 and a half years ago, which is when I was born. As my older brother, he's been with me for almost every weird phase, wild adventure, or exciting opportunity I've had. As kids, we grew up playing soccer together, swimming, going to camp, etc. As adults, we traveled together to Greece and Italy. All I can say is...We are a brother and a sister. We are best friends. We are together forever. We are BEST FRIENDS!

MaryAnn and I are both Tar Heels who bleed Carolina blue! UNC’s School of Journalism brought us together, but our shared love of sweet treats cemented things. During the first summer we were interns in Manhattan and as we were getting to know each other better, I biked from the N.J. town I was staying in to the (fairly close) N.J. town she was staying in, all so we could go to a church festival and get some zeppoles! It’s been friend love ever since. Now we’re usually either searching the city for the best ice cream and baked goods or watching UNC basketball together.

Although we’ve known each other for many years through the Brossining network, Brian and I first became close when I moved to NYC in 2013. Although we vehemently disagree about the best ice cream flavor, we immediately became fast friends. Over the years, we have had so much fun hiking, “some frills” camping, (rarely) winning at bar trivia, watching Star Wars, and enjoying some of the best diner food NYC has to offer. I am so happy that Brian reached out when I first moved to the city and feel lucky to have him as one of my closest friends now. I look forward to more good times for many years to come and can’t wait to celebrate him and MaryAnn on September 7th!

MaryAnn was one of my first NYC friends. The Sporty Spice to my Posh Spice. We met through my best friend Brecken, and I immediately fell in love with her sweetness paired with hidden sass. We bonded over Hello Kitty and all things fun. We went through our twenties together, and have a few stories to tell. I'm sure at the wedding our stories will come out. I consider her a sister from another mister. She is stuck with me now.

Brian is a lifelong friend. We met when we were in 1st grade playing AYSO soccer and have remained close ever since. Our families have gone on many amazing and memorable vacations together, and we have always supported each other through the highs and lows. Wishing Brian and MaryAnn a lifetime of happiness and looking forward to many more fun times ahead!

Lauren met MaryAnn after they both moved to New York post college. They immediately bonded about the Spice Girls over sugary cocktails at Wicked Willy’s, one of New York’s finest bars. From lake trips straight out of the set of a horror movie to climbing mountains and camping, their friendship is always an adventure. They are also supportive of each others’ passions: Lauren appreciates MaryAnn’s deep love of her cats and Bojangles' and MaryAnn understands Lauren’s love of corgis and tacos. These days, they love to talk about Martha Stewart’s personal Instagram account and drink fancy tea. Lauren can’t wait to help get MaryAnn married this fall!

I can't quite remember the exact day I met Brian, but it probably involved playing Super Smash Brothers in my dorm room sophomore year of college while listening to 90s music. Our friendship solidified when Brian chose to forgo attending an entire season of basketball games to study abroad in Madrid, so we could room together. I've never forgotten this and could not be more grateful! We conversed in Spanish during dinners with our host family, played soccer and drummed in Retiro with the locals, and even learned how to scuba dive in the Canary Islands! Brian is the type of friend who would drive downtown in the rain, 9:30 on a Tuesday night, to check out the late night record shop with you. Call it impulsive. Call it compulsive. Call it insane. But that's the kind of class act he is!

We crossed paths in school at Chapel Hill, became friends in NYC, and have experienced adventures together that run the gamut from wine and cupcakes to metal shows!

A match made in random roommate assignment heaven! We bonded over our mutual love of all things UNC and late night Qdoba, and 10 years later, we've shared so much - moving to NYC, being cat-moms, and living out our dreams of being Disney Princesses (at least for one day)!!
