Out of Town Guests - hotel check-in

To reserve your rooms for Fri & Sat nights (9/27 & 28), at the negotiated group rate of $185/night + tax, call 1-800-MARRIOTT (1-800-627-74688) and identify yourself as members of the "Hall Wedding Group". Make sure to specify "Marriott Courtyard Charlotte City Center - 237 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202" as there are three different Marriott hotels in Charlotte City Center. Make your reservations by Aug 27'th in order to get the group rate. We reccomend using UBER from Charlotte Douglas Airport to the hotel. It is ~15 min UBER ride and all planned activities for the weekend are within easy walking distance from the hotel. Also note that at 4:00 pm Saturday a motor coach will pick up everyone from the hotel and bring you to the wedding venue and then will be leaving at 10:15 pm to bring everyone back to the hotel. Parking is $30/day at the hotel if desired.

Charlotte Highlights Self Guided Experiene

9:30 am - 2:30 pm

When you arrive at the hotel in your welcome bag you will find a map of Charlotte and information on the many options to experience the City of Charlotte. All of these will be within easy walking distance to your hotel. Just some options to note are the NASCAR "Hall" of Fame, the Mint Museum, Belcher Museum of Modern Art, Discovery Sience Museum, Uptown Funk Story of Charlotte walking tour, City of Charlotte Comedy Bus Tour and Southern Charm Historical Bus Tours. The more relaxed way to experience Charlotte is to hang out on hotel's pool deck overlooking Charlotte City Center. Or do a little of both!
