Since guests will be staying at various accommodations, we will be providing shuttle services between Hakata Station and Marizon Ocean Resort. Additionally Taxi's are easily available via Uber within Fukuoka City.
Total travel time from the New York area to Fukuoka is about 17 hours. The flight from New York to Tokyo is approximately 14 hours in the air. The domestic connection from Tokyo to Fukuoka is 2 hours.

While there is English support at the major tourist attractions, and at major transportation hubs, most Japanese Citizens do not speak fluent English. We highly recommend downloading Google Translate prior to arrival. Google translate also has a feature where it will translate words or phrases in a photograph; extremely useful for those that want to explore local restaurants and Izakayas.
There is no strict dress code, but we recommend either Formal Wear, or Cocktail Attire.
The ceremony and reception will be more in line with a traditional Japanese ceremony with Western elements.
