Once upon a time, a boy met a girl in sunny California. She was from a small town in Florida and he was raised in Silicon Valley. God was working the day He arranged their paths to cross on June 15, 2019. Acquaintance turned to fondness, fondness transformed to like, like evolved to love. They laughed and bonded over Taiwanese food, dove into deep life conversation over Philz Coffee, and reveled in the peaceful and mutual silence of morning hikes. They spent 3 years together, learning to understand what love, family, and partnership meant to one another. To the girl, the boy was a breath of fresh air. He was intelligent, kind-hearted, and open minded. To the boy, the girl was considerate, funny, and always encouraging. They became best friends, inseparable, yet true to their own independence. The rest was history.

Brian and Lian already had planned to spend forever with one another. They took the unconventional route of shopping for the ring together. Brian wanted to make sure Lian got the ring of her dreams.
