We met in orchestra during our freshman year in college. We joined the same quartet and became friends over the course of the semester. Starting our sophomore year of college, we starting hanging out everyday and Brian finally asked Leah out on a date. Since then, we have been able to share many memories together from graduating college, getting an apartment together, Leah going to PA school in NY, starting our careers, and buying a house in MN.

We had planned a trip to Japan with some of our close friends. We planned to go during cherry blossom season. Brian had everything planned, although Leah had a "feeling" it might happen then. However, it was better than Leah could have expected. Brian had scoped out the area a few days prior to make sure he chose the best location. We planned to take pictures in front of the Meguro River and once we got to the perfect location, Brian popped the question! And of course Leah said YES!
