We're Getting Married!

We met at Beerhead Bar & Eatery, which was called "Beer Market" in 2017 when we met. I worked there as a server and Brian was later hired as a shift lead before becoming the AGM. We started working every Sunday morning together and we were forced to talk and get along because we were the only ones there. We quickly became friends and used each other as a safe person to be vulnerable and silly with. Sunday mornings included proof reading papers, talking each other off the ledge during a rush, being a shoulder to cry on, making up games, and a lot of laughing. Our friendship grew over three years until 2020 when we both expressed we had stronger feelings. We had amazing support from our Beerhead crew who apparently knew for a while that Brian had a crush. Although they were not the only ones. My parents came to eat at Beerhead and picked up on Brian's feelings for me through his playfulness and kindness. We had a Covid relationship, which forced us to have creative dates and get used to being stuck inside with each other. We lived across the hall from each other for two years before moving in together in 2022. We merged our lives and pets together (cats and rats) and overcame all the challenges life threw at us together as a team. In 2023, Brian proposed to me in Michigan on our family vacation. Obviously, I said yes. Well actually, I said, "yeah!" Now we have our daughter, Suki, and a home! Our favorite dates include breweries, sushi, Jurin, Chama Gaucha, movies, and walks.
